Everything I have had here has been great. Seafood gumbo is very good
Went with my whole family (9 of us) and we were blown away. Such a great place tucked away in a small town, but worth the drive. I would classify this place as a "hole-in-the-wall". First, our server was phenomenal. Attentive, fun, and all around awesome. Secondly, the food (especially for the price) was exceptional from appetizer to entree to dessert. The gumbo, crab cake, shrimp & grits, and shrimp boil were notably good. Pecan tart with homemade caramel ice cream was amazing. If you are looking for an upscale, fine dining experience then this ain't for you. If you want a great food and a laid-back atmosphere, then this is the place. We will be back.
Great food, but be prepared to wait. Our estimated wait of 30 min turned into right at an hour. Don't drink too much of that beverage you brought because the restroom is a1 holer and the place is always packed! Other than that, worth the drive, especially when you read a little about the place and the chef. Enjoy!
You would never expect food this great to be in a place like this! Worth the wait and the service is always great. Always a request when I make it back home.
Best hole in the wall kinda place I've ever been to! I've already planned 3 more visits with other friends that want to go. There is seriously nothing on the menu that is bad. And you have to have dessert, doesn't matter what you get, it's all good.
